Trustees

Guiding our work and shaping our future

Citizens Advice Isle of Wight is an independent local charity, run by a team of staff, volunteers and trustees.

Our Board of Trustees provides strategic direction, ensures good governance, and makes sure we continue to deliver free, impartial advice for everyone on the Island.

What our trustees do

Our trustees:

  • Oversee the charity’s strategy, performance and finances

  • Make sure we meet our legal and regulatory responsibilities

  • Support our leadership team and staff

  • Champion the needs of local people in everything we do

They bring experience from a range of backgrounds. Including law, finance, community development, education, and public service; helping us stay accountable, sustainable, and focused on what matters most.
