From 17th September for a month, Citizens Advice IW staff and volunteers are going all out to raise funds and awareness of our charity by taking part in the 55 challenge.

Starting with the boss cycling 55 miles from London to Brighton, then with Advice Session Supervisor Keith walking 55 miles and spotting 55 species of wildlife; next to join the challenge is Help to Claim (Universal Credit) Adviser Emma Pettitt. Emma has set herself the challenge of running 2.5 miles every day until she reaches 55 miles.

Emma says:

'Like a lot of my colleagues, Citizens Advice means more to me than a pay cheque at the end of the month. I love my job and the people I meet, I want people to know that Citizens Advice have been here all the way through the pandemic and we are still here to advise and support you whoever you are. It's about people being able to get free advice when they need it and because we're impartial, the advice we give isn't skewed towards one side or another.'
