When to contact Citizens Advice Isle of Wight

Contact us if you urgently need help with:

  • Housing or eviction

  • Bailiffs or court deadlines

  • Energy disconnection or debt

  • No money for food, travel, or essentials

  • Problems at work affecting your income

If you’re homeless or at risk tonight

Contact the Isle of Wight Council Housing Team on 01983 821000 and ask for Housing. They can arrange emergency accommodation or urgent housing support.

If you have no food or heating

  • Safe Haven IOW: Call 01983 520168 (free, available Monday to Friday: 5 pm to 10 pm and Weekends: 12 noon to 10 pm)
