Here at Citizens Advice IW we are still offering our advice services to you 9am-5am Monday- Friday.

But how do I get in touch?

We offer different methods of contact - choose the one which is more tailored to you and your situation.

Freephone Adviceline calls

You can get in touch with us via phone on 0800 144 88 48 lines are open 9am-4pm 5 days a week calls are charged at your providers standard rate charge. Due to experiencing a high demand in calls recently we please ask that you are patient when waiting for a call handler to get to you. If you are unable to get through, please leave a message us a message by pressing the * on your keypad followed by 1 or press B.

Or alternatively you can use the “Isle Help me” service which requires you to fill in a small form and brief description of what you would like help with. You can find this on the CAIW website of alternatively you can click this link at https://www.islehelp.me/contact/. Once this is completed you will receive and email back, please allow up to 5 working days for a reply.

Need Help on how to claim? (Universal credit)

If you need help when applying for Universal Credit, please call 0800 144 8 444, this line will take you directly to the “national help to claim line”, If further local help is needed you will be referred to us.

 

Outreach/appointments

We are currently not operating our outreach services to walk in clients, this service is only available on an appointment basis which are currently being held at County Hall (Monday to Friday), Ryde library (Mondays) , Ryde Aspire (Tuesday mornings), and Freshwater Our Place (Tuesday mornings).

Unfortunately due to current circumstances with the ongoing pandemic we cannot promise a face to face appointment will be given but every enquiry will be assessed as to priority, from there you will be invited in to one of facilities where we have capacity, please bear in mind this may not be your local or nearest outreach centre.
