If you're a victim of domestic violence or abuse, there are organisations on the Isle of Wight that can help you.

In light of the coronavirus outbreak and in response to national Public Health advice, some changes to IOW domestic abuse services have been made but all of the domestic abuse services are working closely together at this time.

The Isle of Wight Council has the most up to date information, which can be found here.

Below are a list of organisations that can help you if you are being abused - whether physically, emotionally, or otherwise. If there is an emergency - coronavirus or not - call the police on 999.

The household isolation instruction as a result of Coronavirus does not apply if you need to leave your home to escape domestic abuse. Victims and Perpetrators of Domestic Abuse are allowed to leave their homes to 'cool off' and stay with someone else for a few days when needed.

* Calls to the Adviceline 03 number cost the same as calling 01/02 numbers & may be included as part of your mobile or landline call package. If you do not have a package, calls from a landline can cost up to 9p per minute. Mobiles may be considerably more expensive.
