Energy Best Deal Extra and Energy Savings Week

Citizens Advice Isle of Wight has been delivering the Energy Best Deal Extra (EBDX) project since 2012, tailoring individual advice to clients on their energy bills. Citizens Advice Isle of Wight also took part in the Big Energy Saving Week, working alongside other energy-related charitable organisations to promote energy saving ideas. Read more

Hate Crime Awareness

On the Isle of Wight in 2018/9 there were 305 Hate Crimes or Hate Incidents. A Hate Crime or incident are any crimes or incidents where the victim, or any other person, believes it was carried out because of the victims’ identity. This could be Disability; Faith, Religion or Belief; Gender Identity; Race, Ethnicity and Nationality; or Sexual Orientation. Read more
